What a wonderful job our Literary Magazine club did putting together this edition, under the direction of Mrs. Topel.  It's a  spectacular culmination of the works in creative writing and artistry from our talented Deerfield students throughout the school year.  Congratulations on a beautiful publication!  Folio Literary Magazine 2026

Congratulations to our students who worked hard to maintain good grades and reach the honor roll this trimester.  Here are just some of the many students we are so proud to acknowledge for reaching his academic achievement.  Keep up the good work next year!  

Mrs. Tiscia and her artists work on a mural together, adding visual appeal to Deerfield one hallway at a time...nice work!

Mrs. Tiscia did a phenomenal job putting our talented student masterpieces on display.  Families enjoyed seeing their students' works of art in an array of colors  and mixed media.  Deerfield has so many talented students who were encouraged to express their creative side throughout the school year.

8th Graders work together to create a lasting panel of artwork, to commemorate their last year at Deerfield School.  We love this tradition that lines our hallways, representing many years of Husky pride.

The amazingly talented art club students from Deerfield came to Beechwood's garden to paint a spectacular mural along with some talented Beechwood Bears.  Thank you to Mrs. Sterba and other volunteers who brought this vision to life.  What a beautiful addition to the garden that can be enjoyed for years to come! 

Deerfield 8th graders descended on DC for this annual tradition!  They lucked out with some beautiful weather - sunshine and mild temperatures to see all the city has to offer.  Thank you to Mr. Young for all the time he put into planning the trip and making it look effortless. Thank you to all the teacher and parent chaperones too.  We could not do this trip without you! 

Teamwork proved to be a challenge, but so productive and successful when students worked together!

Students enjoyed an adventure filled day at Sandy Hook.  The weather was perfect for learning about creatures right off our own New Jersey coast.

STEAM students are engaged in cool experiments, partnering with classmates to see what makes the world go 'round.

Our Kindness Poster contest had so many creative entries to show how kindness lives in our community.  Congratulations to Ava Peters whose first place work of art is seen here.  Thank you to our anonymous resident artist who graciously donated the winning prizes.

Student Council visited the Community Food Bank for our annual trip to donate food and time to this wonderful organization who supports our neighbors in need.

Another incredible performance by our talented cast of Matilda.  The cast, crew, and staff really did a spectacular job performing to sold out shows all weekend.  Bravo!

Middle school students participated in the annual Union County Teen Arts Festival.  Led by Mrs. Tiscia, our students displayed their incredibly creative works of art.
